Second Aid
I've been meaning to post this photo and was surprised to come across it today while researching treatments for depression online. It's known as St John's Wort and I found it in some nearby woodland. I love finding yellow in nature, but this little golden nugget has more than just a pretty face.
There's little evidence supporting it's mental benefits but I still find it interesting to learn that something I photographed has properties I've been looking for. Like it was right under my nose. That being said I'm not one for making and testing potions so I'll leave it be now that I know where it lives.
