274/365 2018 - Friendly Fire

Most people consider me a positive person but it's healthier to be 50/50, positive/negative. For example a person is statistically far more likely to fall victim to abuse from someone they know and trust than from anyone else. The unknown doesn't scare me, people do. The very act of changing my life's path out of fear of becoming victim, would be admitting fault. I am not to blame if I make myself vulnerable, an “easy target”. I am not the perpetrator to my own abuse. We all must face the consequences of our actions. Be good and good will follow. It's not that hard, there's no excuse, but I will forgive you and I will forgive myself.
